Papas & The Pajas is a diverse quartet that invites you to a glorious mix of equilibristic danger, music in all forms, clowning and plain old fashioned bullshit talk! The different forms merge into each other. The beautiful mix of the burlesque with the absurd, the real and the comic with the serious.

Cirque du Baguette
Papas & the Pajas take on their best sunday suit and invites you to an odyssey through the history of modern contemporary circus. Their performance - Cirque du Baguette mixes circus techniques with dance, live music with clowning and ensemble performance, with a little good old fashioned bullshit talk for a good measure! They promise you a wide varety of daring acts and beautiful musical compositions.
Cirque du Baguette had its premiere at Boulevardteatern in Stockholm the 19th of may 2010.

EVENT
Papas & the Pajas makes your dinner, festival or event into something special! During festivals we fill the space between your bookings and help you be special among all the summer events. With years of experience in the business we can provide tailored solutions for all types - be it on the small intimate event or the huge gala celebration.
Single acts
We can offer you several different soloacts with different content and duration depending on what you want.
Examples of acts we can provide: Juggling, fireshow, fakirs, acrobatics, handstands, dancing, clowning, singing, magic. All accompanied by live music!

Mingle
Papas & the Pajas offers mingle artists for all kinds of events. Stilt-men, musicians, acrobats, jugglers, charactermingel or why not Sweden's smallest variety show? Either this is about highlighting an event, create a good festival feeling or pure advertising - on stilts, we talk with visitors, visible from far, we get through at the most unexpected places, and pay attention to each one.
We can easily help to announce speakers, assist with awards or anything that you wish to take place during the event. In short, we can help you stand out among other events, fill the space between your star bookings and ensure that visitors remember your specific event.
The smallest varieté in the world!
The ultimate festival concept! With Sweden's smallest variety show we fill the space between your star bookings and ensure that visitors will remember your particular festival as something special.
In the small circus tent we perform breathtaking acrobatics, juggling, music of all shapes and colors and clown arts - all mixed with old fashioned bullshit talk! Intimate, unique and spectacular. The show is constructed in a small tent (3x3 feet) and the shows are short, between five and ten minutes. The loudspeakers are facing the festival area and attracts bypassing visitors to join the winding queue. Here they are also being entertained while waiting for their turn. Since the artists changes with every performance it is never the same and even those who see more then one continue to be surprised. The concept can be run for up to two hours at a time, and it is always crowded!
Workshops
We also offer workshops in clowning, dance, theater, circus and music. We have years of experience in educational work and tailor the course or workshop according to your wishes and needs.

2011-02-18 : Subcase 2011
Papas & the Pajas will perform on Subcase - Subtopia Circus Fair that will take place at Hangaren in Alby.
Subtopia Circus Fair is a yearly showcase of circus, variety and street arts arranged by Subtopia. Here presenters of performing arts get the opportunity to see shows and work in progress presentations. During two intense days artists and bookers from Sweden, Scandinavia and Europe meet.
